VVX D230, Trio 8300, and DaaS is a triple win for SPs, IT Pros, and End Users

You’ve heard of win-win, but at Poly, we’re taking it further. Today, we’re announcing win-win-win. And no, it doesn’t involve a lottery ticket, but a surefire way to grow your business.

With the introduction of the new VVX D230 DECT IP phone, the Trio 8300 conference phone and our industry exclusive Device as-a-Service (DaaS) offering for headsets, Poly augments our award-winning lineup to reduce service providers’ operational costs while expanding telephony choices for end customers.

Consider these winning additions to boost your roster of service offerings:

VVX D230 for Workplace Mobility

VVX D230 DECT IP Phone

Today Poly introduces the VVX D230 DECT IP phone, built for retail, small businesses, and open offices where employees are on the move. With up to 165-foot indoor range, 10 hours of super-clear talk time between charges, and 8 lines, the VVX D230 empowers on-the-go workers to stay connected while juggling their many responsibilities.

And say hello to desk-phone features on the wireless IP phone! The VVX D230 phone has features typically only found in desk phones such as speakerphone, intercom, transfer, conferencing and calling party ID.

Users in noisy environments such as car dealerships, physicians’ offices, and retail outlets need superior technology to keep focused on the conversation. The VVX D230 comes with HD Voice for full duplex conversations and background noise suppression to help users concentrate.

The freedom won’t benefit just the end user. IT professionals will find VVX D230 easy to deploy and manage. Ongoing management via Polycom Device Management Service for Service Providers (PDMS-SP) allows service providers to centrally manage and troubleshoot Poly voice devices securely from the cloud, whether the customer has ten or ten million devices. Even better, PDMS-SP gives you the insights to keep those customers happy.

Big win for workplace mobility!

Trio 8300 for Huddle Room Simplicity

Trio 8300

The popularity of open office spaces has caused an explosion of huddle rooms where small groups can escape the noise to collaborate, often with coworkers in other locations. A recent Frost & Sullivan study projects that by 2022, 70% of video conferencing meetings will happen in huddle rooms. You don’t need luck to win huddle room customers—the new Poly Trio 8300 is an affordable conferencing option to enable hassle-free collaboration in these small spaces.

Everything about the new Trio makes collaboration easy: One device provides USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and IP connectivity, and a simple interface to launch meetings. Similar to the entire Trio lineup, the Trio 8300 supports hybrid registration, meaning users can easily join calls from any open SIP standards-based platform or service they’re using.

After an easy meeting start, everyone stays focused with Poly NoiseBlock, which auto mutes the phone if non-speech noise is present. Once background noise is not an issue, users can fully enjoy the rich audio clarity of Poly HD Voice for full-impact conversations.

Big win for low-cost conferencing in small rooms!

Device-as-a-Service Eliminates Cost, Risk of Ownership

Once you’ve hit the jackpot with VVX D230 and Trio 8300, add DaaS to your portfolio. Poly’s DaaS program allows service providers to offer customers maximum flexibility when implementing Poly devices. With this announcement, the Poly DaaS program is now expanded in North America to include our industry-leading line-up of headsets. Unlike traditional lease arrangements that require a long-term commitment, Poly’s DaaS runs month-to-month, allowing the option to cancel and return devices at any time with no penalty. The program also includes a replacement plan which will exchange the device if it fails any time during the first three years (headset) and seven years (phone) of service.

Service providers adopting this DaaS model avoid the financial risk of owning equipment while offering customers consistent service with a uniquely scalable solution. Under the program, customers can more easily predict annual costs by shifting CapEx expenses to monthly OpEx expenses, and have the flexibility to add or subtract devices depending on need.

DaaS is now available for all VVX , Trio and Soundstation IP phones including the new VVX D230 and Trio 8300. Headsets eligible for the DaaS program in North America include Blackwire 3200 and 5200 Series; EncorePro Series; Savi Series; CS500 Series; and the Voyager Series. Poly Calisto speakerphone is also eligible under the DaaS program.

Big win for your revenue stream!
